Black Friday is approaching fast but you can already find notable deals on name-brand hardware and accessories. Today we're sharing a cross-vendor discount on the Samsung 970 EVO Plus 2TB SSD.
This offer extends across multiple platforms and brings the total price of the Samsung 970 EVO Plus down to an all-time low – an unusual occurrence with the notoriously high-margin Samsung. It's out of stock on Amazon but still available for Prime users. You can also pick it up through B&H Photo, Best Buy, or Newegg.
The mainstay of Samsung's popular NVMe SSD lineup, the 970 EVO Plus comes in a M.2 2280 form factor and uses a PCIe 3.0 x4 interface. This TLC NAND-based drive has a maximum read speed listed as 3500MB/s in the official specifications along with a 3300MB/s burst write speed.
It offers 256-bit AES encryption for any data stored on the drive. It also supports both S.M.A.R.T. and TRIM commands.
This drive has a 2TB storage capacity but there are 1TB, 500GB, and 250GB versions available, as well. The TB version is rated for 1200TB Written, which works out to a lifetime write endurance rating of 600 drive writes.
This is the lowest price we've seen for this drive since it was first released in June of 2019. Visit the Samsung 970 EVO Plus product page from one of the vendors listed above for more details and checkout options.
